Good software deals at CC B&M- HL2EP1 $4.99, Halo 2 $37.99

Remember to take your rewards zone card if you go to PM at bestbuy.

A few of the deals:

Half-Life 2 Episode 1 - $4.99
Halo 2 - $37.99

Wii: Mario Party 8 - $39.99

Keep in mind that you can PM at BestBuy AFTER you purchase at the regular bestbuy price and get 110% back on the difference. It means you have to take two trips, but if you're cheap like me... it's worth it.

Half-Life 2 Episode 1 - $4.99
Halo 2 - $37.99

both for $43 seems like a hot deal.

Although I have already played through Halo2 on the xbox, I haven't played ep1 yet.

Not to TC but just remember, Ep2 will not be released as a standalone. You'll have to buy Ep1 all over again if you want to play Ep2.

Are you sure? A quick Google search brings mixed results.

There is also several console titles for $9.99 such as Lego Star Wars. Check the Circuit City
flyer for complete list.

Don't forget the game everybody would want if they were stuck on an island (with only a laptop and solar battery!):

Civilization 4 only $19.99

I really wanted Loco Rocco for the PSP (my six-year-old seems to love it) but the bin the 9.99 games were in has been picked over. I've got 2 cc's on the way home.

Thanks OP and BigSnyder.

Um... how about a high-speed connection??

If no Intertube connection and/or no chicks are on the island, I'd have to plot my own demise.

Steam's store says otherwise. There's has never been another game you couldnt purchase by itself.

thats where your wrong... Garry's mod requires an hl2 source game...

This game requires that you own a Source engine game such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, or Day of Defeat: Source. Click here for a full list of games that meet this requirement.

But isn't that free? Doesn't really count as a "purchase" if it still is.

Thats because of the nature of Garry's Mod. It's a 3rd party mod that requires the resources of Valve games to work.
