I am looking for a good phone to be used for mobile email and light internet. The first thing that comes to mind is blackberry of course. I was wondering if any of the pocketpc phones have gotten better to the point of recommending over a blackberry?

Number 1 is to be able to access my email almost anywhere. Number 2 is light internet browsing. I know PPC's are nice since I can put any PPC app on them, but which would everyone say is better? Also, what about that new Motorola Q?

I was thinking I could just get a phone, and have a PPC separate, but then that is a PITA. I am also open to switching providers. I am currently on Nextel, which I have no problems with, but if another provider offers something more suited to my needs, I could switch.

did you have a look at Palm's Treo 650/700? it comes in both windows and palm versions. no wi-fi though...only through your provider, and sprint has the treo 700p which has ev-do so you'll get "fast" internet.

I had the xv6700 with Verizon... love the phone, but I'd rather be on Sprint and have their version of it-- the PPC-6700.

The 6700 has built-in wifi, Windows Mobile 5, bluetooth, good sound quality, and a good sized screen and fold-out keyboard.
