I just bought the Sony DSC-T1 and I'm unbelievably dissapointed. The size of it and the design is absolutely beautifal but so far I've only gotten 1 non blurry picture.

I'm looking for a camera that is at least 4 MP, preferably 5. Similar form, I'd like to keep itw ith ema ta ll times and with me at parties etc, so it also needs to be durable.

Clear shots are very important for me, also looking for one that has a timer option, as I'll be working out soon so I wanted to use one to take picturesof mysel feach day to track my progress, so I'll need to be able to take pictures of myself with ease.

Any ideas? :)

Budget? Look at the Canon A95 or something with shutter control until you learn how to take a non-blurry picture :D

The reason why the pictures came out blury, is because you can't set the shutter speed to a higher value. It has a fast shutter mode, but I'm not sure how fast it sets it.
Plus, when you take pictures indoors under florescent light, you must hold the camera perfectly still, or the picture will blur. To solve this, use the flash so there is enough light.

The SonyV1 is a better camera and I get great shots with it. Digital cameras work best outdoors where there is plenty of light. Indoors, you need a good flash that you can point at the ceiling and light up the entire room.

The V1 is cool because it can fit in my pocket if I'm wearing cargo or Docker pants and it has a self timer.
Here's the review.

And here are some pictures take with it on my latest computer build.

Look at the 3rd picture on the page of the roller coaster in the dark. The coaster is blured, why? The shutter speed of the camera is slow to allow light in, otherwise the picture would be dark. So any movement of the camera whatsoever will blur the image.

Pentax Optio S5 (5mp)...fits in an altoids tin and takes some damn nice pictures. I've got the S4 model (4.0 mps) and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I assume the 5 mp version is the same.

I like my KonicaMinolta Dimage Xg, but it's a 3MP camera. A newer X50 has come out, but it looks cheap and has plastic construction AFAIK. The older Xg/Xt/Xi/X series looked nicer.
