Good site to buy USB cable for LG Chocolate?

I have been trying to find a good usb cable, but everywhere I look they seem to be non-oem and I want to be sure the cable that I buy works.

Anyone out there have any experience with the chocolate or know a good site that sells phone cables?

or, would it be a better option to buy a bluetooth usb adaptor instead? (i have to check and make sure that even works on this phone first)

Does this mean it will support bluetooth file transfers?

From vzw.com:
Bluetooth Capable (v1.1) ?supports headset, hands-free, advanced audio distribution, serial port, dial-up networking, object push profiles for vCard.

thanks!

uh, how about starting at the service provider?

uh, i don't want a music essentials kit that includes crappy headphones and software for $30 when I have my own.

I don't like using ebay, just don't like it much and had too many bad experiences. Although it's looking like I might have to use ebay. I'd still like to find an alternative though 😀

I'm going to stay with motorola for the forseeable future because most of their new phones charge and transfer data with a normal five pin usb connector. When I went home last christmas break I forgot my charger and used my mom's usb cable for her camera to charge my phone.

It writes to a MicroSD right? Just use a card reader that you probably already have laying around and do it that way.

Both Eforcity and Wirelessground have storefronts on Ebay 😀

But if he feels more comfortable just because Ebay won't be involved whatsoever, then by all means get it from their website

I know...but the OP has "had too many bad experiences" on ebay 😕

Sounds good.

And eforcity will charge him about $10 for the luxury of avoiding bad experiences (e.g. website price vs. ebay price)

how is it so confusing that I dont' like ebay?

Ebay sucks, somebody stole my account and they refused to reinstate my account unless I could tell them the e-mail I used 5 years ago when I registered. F*$k ebay!

OEM is going to cost you far more than just buying a generic cable that will work exactly the same. I've bought generics off eBay for every cellphone I've had and never had a problem.

Exactly, not everyone has to like shopping on Ebay. I guess some people can't understand that.

I don't mind if the cable is non-oem really. I just want to make sure that it is a good brand. I bought a cable off of A1 accessories on Amazon a while back and it didn't work at all for my previous phone.

I actually want the cable because my wife (it's her phone) wants to put mp3's as ringtones, which means you have to use bitpim and a cable to do that. I've already got my microSD card working with the sd card reader to put songs on it.

I understand perfectly.

I also understand that if you were to buy from eforcity or any number of cell phone accessories sellers with an ebay storefront (try to find one that doesn't), you're going to pay twice as much for the same product from the same seller.

But that's the price some people are willing to pay...works for me as it subsidizes my Ebay purchases from the same guy 😉

yeah you can, actually. Which is why I am more than likely going to now go that route. It will work with my E815 also so even better 🙂 (already got a moto cable for that though)

Yea, with that, you don't have to worry about getting cables for any future phones you might have.
