Good simple software needed for Packard Bell remote

I tried using the program Girder and the Igorplugin to try and run this thing but no luck. It says it's working and it is detecting the remote mouse signals but its not moving the cursor. Is there any software made especially for this mouse?? Something simple and complete? I'm running on WinXP pro.

i think you can try uICE and WinLIRC. Ive used WinLIRC before, i think you have to program it yourself, but im not sure.

theres link to both of those as well as Girder software here:

I use Girder to control my Packard Bell remote, it works like a champ but its got a little bit of a learning curve

u have to change some settings for the igor plugin to make it work... go to the Girder homepage, go to the forums, and run a search for "packard bell"

all you need to know will be found. 😀
