Anyone know of a good program for small business that will keep track of inventory and make simple invoices? I'm looking into Quickbooks, but I was just wondering if there were any other good programs out there.

Notepad works good for small businesses... If you business isn't THAT small, try Excel. ;)

I would suggest checking Quicken's Point of Sale software. It's pretty basic and can do a lot.

Use FileMaker Database. It's excellent for creating reports etc and for keeping track of inventory.

i work at a small business that uses Red Wing Windows business software, it basically runs over MS Access. not sure how it compares to QuickBooks or other software, but you may want to check it out.
