I am looking for good server mother board, dual processor capable would be good, would like to stick to intel chipset but willing to try different if it has good reviews. Onboard scsi not must but may be a plus

i am but a MSI k7t pro2a for desktop but scared to try any AMD solutions for server.

the server is going to be running nt4.0, IIS4.0 (very low load SSL website, may be 10 hit a day) and MS proxy. Not PDC or BDC.

give me you 2 cents

anybody know what anandtech running?
or is it outsourced

do PIII boards support 66mhz ECC EDO memory?, I have 512mb of this kind

I would stick with intel for a server, but that's just me. With Intel and Microsoft so inbedwitheachother :) it makes sense to stick with what works. But I guess other people would go VIA since Anand has.

go to www.2cpu.com that is where I got my answers for a dual setup. Basically the best but more expensive mobo uses the severworks chipset I believe Asus makes boards with Serverworks chipset. These boards are expensive though I heard in 600 or so. A cheaper solution would be the Via chipset. MSI is the one I got these run about 150 or so. any other questions go the 2cpu.com
