I'm moving back to Northern California so I need to know of some good schools there for CIS. If you all could help me I'd be much obliged.

you can get an AA from the Community Colleges.

SJSU, SFSU do not have CIS Majors. They do have MIS Majors.

I'd recommend any California State School. Whichever is closest to you.

CIS - Computer Information Systems is offered as an option at Hayward under the Business Administration major. An option is like a minor but really is considered a focus. I know other schools CIS equivalent as Management Information System (MIS) however I'm not sure if it is a major alone.

CIS and MIS are not really exactly the same thing. MIS focuses more on buissiness and CIS is more about computers. Very few schools have CIS majors.

SFSU has a CIS option under the Business Admin degree. I know this because I have this degree from SFSU. But if you ask me I'd recommend getting a straight Computer Science degree, it'll be easier to get a job afterwards.
