I like red Hot chili peppers a lot, I'm usually a "hip hop guy" but I'm looking for some quality rock, please help out .

You say you're a &quot;hip-hop&quot; guy. Well I can give you some good hip-hop stuff if you're interested. Wyclef Jean's new album, The Ecleftic, is amazing. I love it, I've had it on repeat for about a month now. There's only been one semi-hit from the album, Thug Angels, which is a good song. But there's some other ones on there that are REALLY good (Low Income, Perfect Gentleman, Something About Mary)

What else. Outkast's new album, Stankonia is good as well. I just downloaded the Nelly album, and I have to admit although I'm not normally a big fan of the &quot;gangsta-rap&quot; stuff it's pretty good. One of the better ones.

Impact55: I don't know how you define rock or what type of rock you are interested in, but I urge you to check out Sublime. Even though I am devoted to hip-hop, I would definately consider Sublime one of my favorite artist(s) of all time. If you have any taste in music you will definately like this band. My favorite songs off the most popular 3 albums are:

konichiwa: I haven't given The Ecleftic much of a listen but you must check out his first album, The Carnival, if you like this one. It is also very unique and original. However, I would like to say please don't consider Nelly to be hiphop. His music is bubble-gum pop-rap, nothing more and definately not gangsta. I'm not sure how people will take to the new Outkast, it is very experimental. Check out Aquemini or Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (yes, that is the album title ), which I think people would like a lot more.

mosdef, Sublime is absolutely one of my favorite bands of all time. I have seen them in concert - In fact, our radio station in Hawaii (Radio Free Hawaii) used to play them before they had an album - their loyal listeners demanded it. They fused punk, hip hop, rock, reggae and ska to make their own unique creative sound.

I have some of their live and unreleased stuff. It's just a tragedy about Bradley Nowell . . .

EDIT: The Roots are my favorite hiphop artists but Outcast is very good - don't forget their album &quot;ATLiens&quot; (I have to check out their new one, though).
