Waffles. Way to go with the motivation.

I have always used a heavily modified Word Elegant template.

I write it on Papayrus with the flood of infidels.
I use the Windings Font.

Yes.
I am THAT guy.

edit:

seriously though, this is as opened-ended as asking "what kind of flashlights will fit up your ass"*

Make your own eye catching design. Thats what I did in college and almost every recruiter/interviewer said my resume ended up on the top of the pile. The idea is to add your individual touch without detracting from your experience, skills, etc

well i used some cream heavy clear watermarked paper from my grahpic designer exgirlfriend. turned out okay, and i just copied a bunch of phrases that helped me "speak the corporate language" onto the resume. Like "highly efficient and experienced in implementing new procedures and working as a team!"

i went in to apply for this clerical accounting position, and got offered a "project manager" position. they said it has better pay, and is a better job. Thank you for the helpful insight in your replies.

LMAO. So you added a bunch of corporate-speak fluff to a template resume overstating your experience, and now you've been offered a job you're not qualified for? Good luck with that.

supposed to have been a joke... It's possible they may have nicely been telling me, "thank you for your application we dont need you right now" when they said you'll hear from us in a couple of days. I didn't lie or overstate anything on the resume. I dont think it was the resume that got me the good luck, it was the interview and this gap sweater/ yellow oxford combination im wearing.

I just use a torn open brown paper bag and a few crayons. Never have not gotten a call back.
