These are the first 80.xx version drivers that have worked for me, and so far I'm pretty pleased.
A definite across the board image quality increase from the 78.05, I've played DOD-S and BF2 so far, and in BF2 the difference is the most noticeable.
Also a definite FPS increase. With 1680x1050, 4AA/ Everything on high except dynamic shadows (medium), forced trilinear mipmaps, and Supersampling TAA, I'm getting in many places 80 to even 95fps, and a low of only 60-65FPS! The low comes from when I am looking at a lot of foliage, which I assume is due to TSAA.
Now with older drivers at these settings I'd literally be hitting like 55fps, but that was before patch 1.03.
With these compared to my previous XG 78.05's I suspect its about a 5-12fps increase with a better low fps.
In DOD-S my old timedemo was corrupted so I cant compare.
Also, core usage when gaming is up from 50% to ~65%.
