Pizza Antiqua in Santana Row.
Also Left Bank for French food and Straits Cafe for Singaporean food. Both very good.
Edit: Left Bank and Straits are probably out of that price range.

LOL...I lived off New Tung Kee when I was at SJSU. I think there was one on 5th St. and San Salvador, not too far from campus. I also went to Grandes and La Victoria alot. I would get the linguine w/ red clam sauce at Grandes, then I would hit up La Victoria at 2AM for some beef nacho's Iguana's has super burritos the size of your forearm. -JimboOriginally posted by: brtspears2 Theres always Tung Kee Noodle House somewhere in downtown. $5 or less.

we already decided on Original Joes, we'll go back soon and try some of the others though, I love experiencing new restaurants. Can anyone answer my second question though? (what's the dress code at Original Joes? If we have a party of 12, how early should we get there on a Tuesday night? I know they dont' make reservations... )

New Tung Kee rules! I get it at least once a week. They have cheap, fast Vietnamese soups and noodles. #6 is the best!
