also, a few specifically near Greenwood Village/Centennial/Cherry Creek Park would be nice

any kind of cuisine, any price. fancy, seasfood, run-down, local, etc. thanks
 
We were in the 16th St Mall area when we were there. Enjoyed Maggiano's Little Italy (I know it's a chain, but there aren't any near where I live), Dixon's Downtown Grill and another place I can't remember the name of but I had a great buffalo steak there. It was right in the 16th St area - not the famous Fort Restaurant or the Buckhorn Exchange.

Also have an ESPNZone on 16th St if you like that sort of thing. We didn't go there.

There is a huge Mall at I-25 just past Arapahoe with a lot of Restaurants around the Mall.

On both sides of Arapahoe at I-25 is restaurants like Thai, BBQ etc.

Cherry Creek mall area has a few gazillion restaurants too.

staying in Greenwood Village. I'll have 1 day to venture around denver, but the rest of the time I'll be transportation-limited to the greenwood village area (unless there is good public transport there)

Anybody can find any food. I want find food that locals actually eat 😀
