Only places I have eaten there are Mama Dipp's(overrated) and Red, Hot and Blue.

Anything but Indian, something with ambiance?

I used to enjoy Cosmic Cantina as a nice cheap place also that place at the second floor on Franklin, Hectors. I never got to eat at the 23 place before I left but it was trendy. I found a really good thai place just off campus on 54 I think it was (follow the road from the bookstore past woolen gym by the harris teeter). I went to a nice Trains restaurant that I think was either in Carrboro or near there. There was some good philly cheese steak place near the best buy mall on the way to durham. These are all I can really remember that aren't big name places. I have no idea how many of them are still there since it has been 4 years or so.

Oh yeah. I bet The Top is still there. That was on a corner of Franklin and was pretty nice too. There was also some brewery restaurant. I think it was creatively named The Brewery. That was pretty good too with some decent beers.

Think its called the rathskellar or something like that. I ate their once in college and they gave me a bloody roast beef sandwich. I was kind of hungover at the time, so that isn't exactly a fond experience.

Rathskeller. I forgot about that place. It was cheap college food. Good stuff. I liked going there occasionally. I don't remember what I got. I meant Top of the Hill when I said The Top. My memory is shot. :)

Top of the Hill is good and so is Carolina Brewery. Just walk up and down Franklin Street, it's kind of fun, especially on such a nice day as today. A crisp, coolness to the air plus the exercise will get that appetite rolling. If you're looking for classy, ToTH is better, but CB is cheaper but the beer is still good.

There's a good sushi place off 15-501 (not on the road, but on the side 'access' road alongside it...been awhile so I don't remember the name)

The Loop pizza?

411 West?

Nothing beats Ye Olde Waffle Shop for breakfast/brunch (but you gotta beat the line.)

Don't forget Armadillo Grill and the Dog place in Carrboro! Man, so many good places, I miss the Hill :(
