Hello All
My colleague needs to buy a good laptop for multi-tasking office applications (predominantly heavy duty accounting work with tons of excel spreadsheets, outlook, explorer, skype) all open at the same time. This accounting work supports a high frequency trading company... so we want to make sure is doesn't crash, or it could indirectly impact trading. He's picked a DELL VOSTRO. Is this a high quality enough computer? or should we spend more money on something else?
The number one criteria is reliability, i.e. high quality components which are not likely to crash. Second criteria is the ability to keep lots of basic office applications open at the same time, and quickly switch back and forth among them.
The third criteria is a nice big screen with good resolution so that spreadsheets look good.
