I think he has a chance if he really does shoot from the hip try to inspire the people, grassroots enthusiasm etc. etc.

I think he will fail if he continues obvious pandering and exaggerations such his sudden religious revival that occurs only in Southern states. He doesn't carry it off very well, he obviously doesn't mean it, and I don't think people in the South are dumb enough to fall for it.
