Good ram?

Want it to be able to run at least what I have now. My Samsung ram is running at Cas 2 atm.

Also - anyone know if it would fit on the 9NPA Ultra? The heat spreaders seem kinda large...

OCZ headspreaders aren't big at all. Standard size (similar to Mushkin/Corsair/Hyper-X/etc..), so fit shouldn't be a problem.

If you were talking about the Corsair Ram with the LED panel or lights you would be right to be concerned.

As for timings, no Cas 2 I'm afraid. Most affordable 1gb Dimms have slower timings at the moment (3-3-3-8 is common). Give it time, and the fast stuff will come down in price.

Suppose I could wait a bit, FEAR is the only thing I see me needing more then 1 gig for any time soon. BF2 runs fine for me atm, and Wow has never looked better

Keep your memory, expensive RAM is not needed.
