I've been disappointed with the color quality of my digital prints. I've tried both Costco @ 19cents/print and Shutterfly @29 cents/print.Both print on Fuji paper and the colors have been really shifted to the blue/purple end. Skies and water are almost surreal.
I have prints from film negatives made at the same time which have quite a bit different color, and the film prints are much more the way I remembered the scene. Next time, I'll try Ritz (33-50 cents/print ) and SnapFish (?) and compare them. In the meantime, anyone else done a comparison of the different digital print companies? Not really interested in doing it at home. (Sounds slow, expensive, and fade too quickly.) Also, any links to websites or forums that might talk about this?
My camera is Fuji FinePix 2400 (2.1 Mpixel).
TIA
Edit: Sorry, hit return and posted an empty message.
