what parts should i use for a good core2duo gaming build? budget of about 1000$
please post newegg links.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread.
1200$ (this or i7)

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.

Debating between a core 2 duo, quad or i7

We need to know if you have any parts carried from previous build or do you need the works? Does the $1k include monitor/keyboard+mouse/etc or just the box itself? Do you need an OS?
