I've had a 7970 for about 2 years now and have 2 27 inch 2560x1440 monitors that only support DVI-D Dual Link.
My 7970s have 1 DVI-D port 2 mDP and 1 HDMI port. I have 1 monitor going through the DVI-D port and a second one using the monoprice mDP - DVI-D active adapter. I've constantly had issues with the mDP monitor, flickers, artifacting. Just constant issues. Are there any good active mini display port to DVI-D dual link adapters? They all seem very expensive and reviews always mention snow or major stuttering. Any solution to this?
