I'm on a one-way cable modem through Adelphia, and the news server they provide is absolute crap (It hasn't even been up for the past few weeks.) I'm looking for a good news server to get stuff from, like www.newsguy.com or www.giganews.com.

Here are the criteria that I am looking for:
- 500 - 1000 MB/day download
- > 50 kB/sec bandwidth
- full subscription to alt.*, comp.*, netscape.*, microsoft.*
- preferably > 1 week retention
- < $35.00 US/month

Can any recommend a news service that meets most or all of my criteria?
