BF4, knack, dead rising 3, or COD Ghosts. When I was 13 I would've played any of these

Dead Rising 3 is Xbox One exclusive.

Assassin's Creed 4 is also very good. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Playing as a Pirate was excellent. Killzone is pretty decent too, especially online.

Forgot it was exclusive, but another vote for AC4 for sure.

Need for Speed Rivals is a lot of fun and isn't nearly as violent as BF4, if that matters at all.

Not to be a wet blanket but just keep in mind AC4, Battlefield, and CoD are M-Rated games. Just make sure he's able to handle it and his parents are cool with it before buying them.

Otherwise you might want to look at Injustice: God's Among Us, Knack, FIFA 2014, or NBA 2K14

True...I'll throw a vote out there for NBA 2k14 for sure.

Does the child love patching games? If so, BF4 would be tops on my list :)

I would stick with AC4, Knack or Need 4 Speed. They are pretty polished while BF4 is still having issues and has almost no single player. Your nephew will have to be into multiplayer to get any value out of the game and it's heavily built around expansions.
