good program for transfering pictures from my digital camera?

the camera is a Kodak Z612. The program it comes with is easyshare and it isnt good because if i want to transfer just one picture from the memory it freezes.

if your kodak digital camera has usb or memory card you can use either usb cable to transfer your pictures..windows xp has built in picture transfer wizard or buy an usb memory reader Media Reader

nvm i figured it out, i uninstalled the POS software that came with it, and windows was able to recognize the camera :)

Glad you figured it out.
Most imaging software that comes with electronics is worthless. (Like most software that comes with printers.)

Good move. I've never used the software that has come with any of my cameras. POS is right.

Photoshop elements has a nice interface that allows you to automatically transfer your photos as soon as you plug in the camera.

The best way is to remove the media from the camera, put it in a USB reader/writer and use Windows Explorer to move, copy, etc. any where you want. No special software needed at all.
