Good print server for a parallel printer?

Our old print server unit (Axis 560) is having issues and I want to replace it. We are using a parallel printer. I was looking at the PS101 from Netgear, but it requires that you install the Netgear software on each computer. Is there anything better/easier that I could buy?

Why not just install the printer locally to an old PC and share it out? PC won't even need a monitor/KB/mouse if you can set "Halt on no errors" in the bios. 🙂

i have that ps, and you dont

once you install the software on 1 pc to configure it, just use create standard tcp/ip printing and no need to install software on other pcs.

So basically install the PS101, configure the software on one computer, then I'm set with the other computers?

Just got a Zonet ZPS3611 from Newegg, have not tried it yet. Cheaper than Netgear, and users seemed to find it easier to install / use, if you put much stock in their reviews.
