Good Pricing on Retail 8500?

I went to Pricewatch.com and I couldn't find any good listings for a Retail 275/275 Radeon 8500. Does anyone know a place I can get it for like $220?

Probably your best bet is to strike a deal with someone who got in on the Dell deal and now wants out since they're taking so long to ship.

I just cancelled my Dell Order =P It got postponed till 11/30.. so I was like uhh NO.

Now I'm looking for other places.... any other ideas? Pricewatch brought me to a place but it was still a bit pricey.

Mine say 11/30 and it came today, shipped over weekend, can't wait to get home, dell will run the 20% deal again...

they do it every week and every week I spend over 3000

I got a new email saying my order is to be pushed back to be shipped 11/29 and they will cancel my order unless I respond by the 8th. I recieved an email just like it just over a week ago saying it would be shipped on the 8th or canceled unless I responded by Oct 31st. I responded... I thought waiting till the 8th would be worth it, I don't know what to believe anymore. If I don't recieve the board soon, I will cancel dell and may go OEM.

I got the same e-mail to day saying that my order has been delayed until 11/29. I have a feeling Dell won't be shipping these cards until January or February. Anyway, I managed to get a card on that auction site for $225 w/ shipping. I should get it this Friday.

I got mine from Dell after I thought it was cancelled and no longer want it (still sealed). I put it up for sale in the FS/FT forum, but you can PM me if interested. I had to pay tax, so ended up getting it for like $218. Tack on shipping and a few bucks extra and its yours.

Might want to watch that "few bucks extra". Couple places on pricewatch have retail 8500's for $225... so the deal isn't as good as you think.

epod you might also want to wait to see the reviews/feedback from the mid-November driver release before you buy. If they can't get it right by then, probably isn't worth it buying the card for a few more months.

I kind of need a video card now. My brother's computer blew up and I'm giving him my Geforce 2 GTS. So I need one now... sigh...
