Curious as to if this seems like a good deal right now. I'm still undecided on LCD or plasma, but I keep hearing good things about the Pany Vieras.

If you were looking for a tv in that price range, would you consider this one?

Oh btw, looks like you also get a free tv mount or stand with purchase, which is nice...

While that 850 for 2100 is a good deal, a Pioneer 50" for 2K is unbeatable.

Ya that is an excellent deal...never dealt with cotsco, do you have to have a membership to purchase?

Yes, membership is $40-$50, however, they will extend the manufacturer's warranty up to one year. So it is like a year 2 warranty for $50.

Correction. Seriously, at $2000 for a 5020, I wouldn't even think about getting a Panasonic anything...well, at least the 50" models.
