Good platformers or JRPGs for the PS3?

Hey all. Last summer, I got a PS3, but haven't really gotten around to checking out all the different games that have been made for it.

I'm in the mood for either a platform game or a JRPG, so I'm looking for some recommendations from either of these categories.

Thanks.

PS: if a game has been released on PC (for example, the Prince of Persia series), chances are I already have it, but feel free to suggest it anyway.

I might be in something of the minority, but I liked the very story driven nature of FFXIII, and Square-Enix proved once again it cannot do sequels; as if FFX-2 wasn't bad enough, there was FFXIII-2. There's also Tales of Graces f. Not strictly speaking for the PS3, but you can buy FF7-9 in a format to play on the PS3 via the PSN. They are pretty straight ports, no enhancements at all. Think Xenogears was also ported, but I wasn't a big fan of that game myself.

Eternal Sonata wasn't a bad game all in all, and Valkyria Chronicles was kind of an odd hybrid of JRPG and more western style action-RPG. Finally there was Star Ocean 4, which was kind of a bland, but serviceable, JRPG.
