Good places to send a noob to buy a custom built PC??

well, dont only use newegg, shop around, but yes, building owncomputer = t3h cheapness. Plus its fun, just spend some time on the internet asking questions and reading other ppls questions.

Talk it over with them and decide what you want in your machine and what you can afford and they will build it for you. Don't hesitate to ask them for their opinions on things.

This outfit has been really good at straightening things out if things don't work out right. They are not the sort of company that says tough luck, we've got your money, goodbye.
