Good Places to download video codecs?

I am just wondering what download sites you use for video codecs? I am specifically looking for mp4 and so many sites seem so shady.

free-codecs.com is good one. I think you could find everything there and all clean.

Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP)

Get that and you won't need anything else.
(and uninstall all older, individual codecs before you install the CCCP).

It's a one stop shop. Even comes with Media Player Classic, Zoomplayer and ffdshow, among other things.

Yeah best Codec pack ever made , loads of crappy codec pack screw up some video playback ;(

Usually just installing either Xvid or Divx lets me play anything I can find.
