good place to find used, refurbished, or cheap laptops?

My roomie is looking for a cheap laptop, less than $500 or so, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good resellers for this kind of item.....thanks
 
Of course, I don't know what area you are in, didn't check your profile if you have one. But there are local computer shows in my area where there is always a selection of cheap laptops to check out.

I agree with vetteguy Ebay is your best bet for a cheap used laptop... If avoiding Ebay and willing to go new... Dude, get a DELL... hehe
