Good place to buy EL Wire & controller?

My son and I are looking to do a project and I thought I found a place to buy some, but their shipping rates are quite high (~$10 for a $20 purchase that does not weigh very much).

Basically looking for a trust-worthy place to buy a small amount of EL wire and a small controller (CR2032 button cell batteries).

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Hopefully from a vendor you've done business with before and can recommend?
 
I bought mine years ago. So long ago that I can't seem to find it in my email. But I bought mine on Ebay. I can see "buy it now" sales of EL wire selling for $7 w/ free shipping - there's a long standing prohibition on linking to Ebay auctions here on Anandtech, so I won't link to anything.. but just go there and search. As always, check to make sure that the seller is located near you (and not, for example, China... unless you live near China) so that it arrives in days rather than months.

Amazon also sells it - with some merchants having free shipping.
