Your mom a professional? go to the mall, and look for the stores that the old(er) ladies are walking in to.

Ann Taylor's the only store name coming to mind right now. You should just get her a nice department store gift card. That way if she doesn't want clothes right now, she can get that new deep fryer she's always wanted.
