I'm looking for a place to buy 100-300 CD-Rs. Don't need retail packaging or branding, but would like to buy Taiyo Yudens if possible (or other decient media).

Can anybody recommend a online reseller?

Well, B&M usually sells retail packaged ones that cost more (or have a rebate)... And rebates... arg.

I shopped around for Taiyo Yuden branded CD-R media a couple months ago and I couldn't find a better price than $38 - $40 per 100 piece spindle with the white or 'satin' inkjet printable surface. The shiny 'platinum' or 'silver' non-printable surface CD-R's are less.

I did find one place that offered a good price if you were willing to buy 3000 pieces or more. :p

A little while ago (may still be valid, dunno) Target was selling 50 packs of Verbatim CD-Rs (good quality IMO) for $10, no rebates. I would visit the Hot Deals forum and buy my CDRs that way. With President's Day on Monday there'll probably be free CDR deals floating around. Of course, that will involve rebates.

I checked them out today, they didn't seem to have much in stock at my local target.

I get Mitsui CD-Rs from www.am-dig.com, as I have done for about 4 years now. They always have the best price on Mitsui blanks, and have always offered good service. I just wish they carried a wider variety of DVD blanks.
