Good place to buy 4 gauge power cable for my amp?

My Coustic amp I scored on ebay arrived on my doorstep yesterday. My brother has enough cable for a good ground, ran the RCAs and remote wire for me... all I need is about 15-20' of 4 gauge power cable to run the positve power.

I'm a cheap-skate, so I was wondering if there were any car audio secret places to get power cable cheap? Like Home Depot or something?

Car audio store... it is like $1 per foot. Don't get the cheap crap... get the high stranded good stuff.

Edro, I'll check that out. I believe my local car audio shop sells 8 gauge for $1/foot and 4 gauge for $2/foot. How many feet should I buy for my 97 I30? Like 20'?

Walmart (no, I'm not kidding). An 8 guage kit is about $20. I think the 4 guage was $25 or so.

seconded, they sell a pretty decent kit. Whenever i do an install I just buy one of their kits and its like everythings there including distro blocks, fuses, tie offs, screws, turn on lead, ground and power, and in the 4 gauge kit extra 8gague wire i believe.

Awesome, thanks NutBucket + Drakkon. I was going to PM you before the thread, NB, but I didn't want to annoy ya.
