Good place for replacement iphone battery ?

Have a 6 plus, just waiting for the 7, its 6 month out of warranty. According to 1 battery tool, battery was 35% wear. I notice it'll go to around 33% battery remaining and completely shuts off a few min after.

Ill just do a diy. I usually use Ifix parts but dont want to get stuck with a battery if some ios update decides to generate an error. This happen to them a while back.

Any good source of battery or just use ifix it?

Since the battery isn't part of the secure enclave, replacing it shouldn't result in an iOS error like replacing the home button can.

How much does Apple charge at the Apple store? If it's less than $100, might be worth it for the peace of mind. I watched some videos on how to open up the phone and I'm just not in the mood to use heat guns and break seals.

the old ios gave battery errors.. you know apple.. they like to do it to random things..

anyway i went with ifixit battery... never really had issue with their products..

I've used ifixit and cheap ones from ebay without an issue. I've replaced them in a 4, 5 & 5S.
