I'm getting ready to make a move on a car soon, and am wondering who has good rates at the moment, and would be willing to give me a loan on a '99 (I've heard some places won't give loans if the car is over x amount of years). Should I be looking online or am I better off walking into a bank and trying there? I've gotten a few quotes online, and would have a cosigner with good credit. Any suggestions?

but are the rates competitive? I'm going out today to do some research, but a little info beforehand can't hurt

I asked a bank once and they said go to a car dealership, they have better rates and deals.
Also people recommend credit unions.
