Good ping cs server in Seattle ?

Hi, I am constantly having ping of 100-200 with AT&T cable. If you are living in Seattle area, please tell me the ip address of the server which has good ping time. Thanks.

Try the ones that start with the word "Seattle". THere are 4 or 5. The homelan ones are good too.

limsandy, I live in the Seattle area (Auburn) and while I like playing at Neo's I get a ping of about 190-240. but there is a place in Seattle called seattle swamp that has 4 linux servers and for the most part there is usually a game on at least one of them. I can ping at about 40-60 and so far the most I have seen is 10 on 10 games. It's nice to be one of the LPB out of 20 guys.

Also, each server seems to have a few different maps then the others. so not all severs are the same.

Wow.. I ping 25-40ms to those Seattle servers from Los Angeles with AT&T RR.

Have you tweaked the crizzap out of your CS' connection settings? Sometimes the settings can vary your ping dramatically! If you have, then it looks like some bitching at AT&T is in order

Well, I noticed I have already done one thing wrong. I leave my net_graph on and he says to turn it off so that might help a little. I just left it on to look af my FPS. I'm getting about 60FPS. so I'l turn that off for starters.
