Hi,
In dollars it's around 450$. And yeah my friend wants a budget PC.

There's a saying in the U.S., and maybe it's the same over there;. "Champagne taste and beer money". Your friend will need to lower their expectations or increase their budget.

There's nothing in a $450 total budget that will be "future proof", and from what I see, PC components are more expensive over there than they are here.

A moderator on this site maintains a $500 build guide here where you can see what you can reasonably expect in that price range:
https://forums.anandtech.com/thread...idrange-gaming-system-builders.2389797/page-9

He updates it every 2-3 weeks, so his latest update was this past Friday.

Thank you for the link. It was helpful.
He can spend up to 500$ I guess.

Is this config good enough (got it from another forum with similar budget)
Intel Core i3 6100 -8500,
Asus H110M-K -5200,
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 -3000,
WD Caviar Blue 1TB -3500,
Antec VP550P -3500,
Corsair SPEC-01 -3500,
LG 22MP68VQ-P 22" LED IPS -8300,
Logitech MK200 -1000.
Total comes to Rs 36000

Since he already got the monitor, he can free up 8.3k from that budget, so extra 2.7k freed from total amount. Moreover an average case will be fine with him so we can remove the around 1k more.
Can you suggest a better mb and a simple cabinet to go along with the build?

Those parts are about as basic as you can go. You could probably save a few bucks with a ASRock motherboard, but it will likely not be much cheaper.

The issue will be the gaming requirements listed in your first post. To play new demanding games, a discreet video card would be a good idea. With the HD 530 graphics, they might need to dial some settings way back. Plus newer games like Battlefield 1 list a i5-6600k as their minimum specs.

True..
He is more into light gaming like Dota 2, Fifa, League of legions, CS:Go,etc
Not able to play BF wouldn't really bother him at this point I guess. I just added the heavy gaming part as a novelty from my part.Kinda stupid I know ☺
And would it be good idea to totally skip dedicated GPU and buy it later as per his gaming requirements.

How is this mb?
GIGABYTE GA-B150M-D3H ?
B150 seems more suited for his requirements and its got all the stuffs he want except for integrated wifi and USB C.
Rs 8000 here in India (117$)

That motherboard is fine for a budget build. Really you need to get one as cheap as possible to keep it within the budget.

As far as waiting on a dedicated GPU, he can play whatever games that will work with the IGP, and when he reaches a point of a game he wants to play not working, he can buy a GPU at that time.
