I'm swiching to win 2000 here at work, & I'm allso going to upgrade the onboard video. I don't have AGP, so PCI is the only option, what are the good PCI cards that also have decent win2k drivers/support? I want a good card that has a lot of memory (32-64megs)with really good 2d & decent 3d, TV out would be nice too. Thanks & have good holiday!-John

That's not a bad card at all. A couple other recommendations, ATI makes a nice "All in wonder 32m" pci card that you can pick up for under $200, a little pricey but 32m on pci is more expensive than AGP.

If you want something even cheaper, a number of companies produced the TNT2 cards in 32 meg flavors also on the PCI bus, this was about the time of AGP becoming a standard so more AGP were made than PCI cards by quite a nice margin. You could pick one of these up between $60-75.

Here is a good deal on a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI for $69.88. They have gone under, but current drivers are extremely mature, and it should give you good service for some time. Also has great 2D, but no TV out. Only the AGP versions had that.

Thank you for the replies, two more questions. 1. do the above mentioned cards work well/ have drivers for win2000? 2.Is there going to be a Radon in PCI? Thanx again-John
