Good PC for Audio Work.

Looking for advice on PC for audio some video work, mostly interested in audio.

Don't need overclocking, neon glowing, system (although they look cool) but am interested in a PC probably a rack system, using AMD64.

I'm looking for someone familiar with Socket 940 (Opteron and ECC Memory) vs 939 Sockets (latest socket set with non EXX memory) as well as the advice on how they believe Native Command Queing (NCQ) will affect performance (Intel and on the upcoming Nforce 4).

While I don't have all the experience with tha parts your looking at, I think NCQ will be a big help. Seeing as how the hard drive is basically the slowest part in any given computer, speeding it up at all will be a big benefit.
