Good pc config.for Dvd/Bd ripping?

I am new in pc hardware, i want to built a pc for watching Hd video and ripping my Dvd collection to harddrive. I want fastest pc for ripping Dvds.

A simple Intel Core i3 computer will do it. i3 will do fine with HD video playback and for DVD ripping you just need a DVD device, doesn't matter much how fast is your computer.
Well, if you're later on decoding the DVD format to a DIVX or something like that, you're gonna need a better processor than that, let's say one of the extreme versions of Core i7 - in case you want the decoding done fast.
And don't forget at least 4GB of RAM and a video card with 512MB of RAM.
