define powerful. what monitor will it be running at and what resolution.
Do you want max settings in games if thats what it is for
what exactly is the system for?

You should be ok with most of that...I just built a new system on the X2 3800 and it a nice performer. I also use the 7600gt and it is adequate for most games and its affordable with lower power requirements than most of the newer video cards on the market. Your memory selection will do..not my first brand choice but im sure it will be ok, going with 2gb was a good choice. If I was going to make an observation though...the Powersupply that comes in that case is a piece of crap. You may want to look into a case without a Powersupply and then buy a decent one to put in it. These come to mind as decent options and affordable. There are many other great power supplies also...but in the under $100 catagorey any of these would do very well. Dont skimp on the Powersupply..you would not believe the multitude of woes that a poor power supply can bring upon you in todays demanding computer hardware environment. You can search high and low thrur AT posts and you will see that Power supply issues are the number 1 hardware issue among system builders.
