i'm looking for some speakers that will be coupled with my new pc. it'll have dvd and soundblaster live +5.1, and i was wondering choices for different price ranges for different quality speakers.

basically i want surround(4or5 speakers) and a sub (around 100W or more).
what systems are reliable, offer good sound? i'm not looking for a speaker system that will kill my wallet.. uh.. around a $100~140 US (~$200 canadian) system. anyone help out?

opinions and advice welcome
thanks.

Try the cambridge FSP2000. They rock. I got mine a month ago from hifi.com for $80.00 shipped. Don't know if that deal is still around.

four seakers + a small sub (50W, I think).

I have the fps2000, and I like them a lot, but I'd recommend you take a look at the Boston Accoustics BA4800. They cost a little more, but I think they're worth it.

Do you live in Canada? They're in the price range you mentioned in the US, but they're hard to find in Canada. I think Future Shop has them, but they sell them for too much...

one of the best sounding 4.1 systems in your price range is the BA4800. a lot of users here have them and strongly recommend them.
