QB-Kerry Collins
QB-Chad Pennington
RB-Willis McGahee
RB-Curtis Martin
WR-Randy Moss
WR-Jerry Porter
WR-Derrick Mason
TE-Alge Crumpler
WR/RB-Steven Jackson
B-DeShaun Foster
B-Jimmy Smith
B-Thomas Jones
B-Mike Anderson
K-Shayne Graham
DEF-Buffalo
DEF-New York Jets

I feel strong at WR, RB, TE, and DEF.

QB is a complete iffy, but my bench is full of RBs I can trade for a better QB if needed.

Collins is viewed as one of the top five sleeper picks by a lot of fantasy sites and magazines. Plus, if he does good, he'll be more then likely throwing to Moss or Porter, so its double points.

Not sure what Pennington will do, he hasn't looked bad in preseason though.

I've seen what Collins did for NY.

Agreed. There wasn't much to pick from when I started looking for a QB, so I rolled the dice with Collins.

One thing though, Collins didn't have Moss and Porter in NY and has a better RB in Lamont Jordan than Tiki Barber (IMO)...

Hopefully the gamble comes through...

My opinion? Watch a real game of football. I have no idea how you find that FF stuff entertaining. Or is it the MMORPG of sports :D and is now known as footcrack, which doesn't sound that tasty.

My thoughts:
QB/RB - both average. None of your starters are great, but none of them were awful.
WR - Solid. Moss is the best WR in the league(I assume he was your 1st round selection), the other two are both good players
TE - A better TE, depends on Vick's growth
D - Good

Your biggest mistake is what you considered a weapon. It is TERRIBLE fantasy strategy to have multiple starters on the same team. Terrible, awful. Most people make this mistake with their favorite team(are you a Raider's fan?) The offense will have bad days, and you will have bad performances from all 3 starters. Plus, if Collins DOES have a good day, chances are it will be to either Moss or Porter, not both.

is that last part a joke?

Lamont Jordan is better than Tiki Barber?

You've gotta be kidding me.

I was talking about the previous game, when he went 9-10 with 86 yds, 1TD and 0 INT against the Vikings...

Hopefully he can perform or I'll have to get on the market for either David Carr or Alex Smith... I might dump one of the RBs I have benched and go after Smith as a precaution...

Smith isn't even starting, sport.

If you want to be successful in fantasy football, you've gotta keep on top of NFL news....

I really like McGahee and Martin in the backfield.

I know generally picking guys from the same team isn't looked at as good but I felt that I'd try this (I got Collins in like Rd. 9 of a 16 round draft) and experiment the first few weeks and if it fails I can unload some of the RBs for a better QB.

Anyways, I'm proud of my final pick. I got Mike Anderson, who looks to be the starter in the RB Factory known as the Broncos.

Mike Anderson is definitely a good pickup in the last round. That could be the steal of the draft. I'm not so sure about your starters though - I have doubts about Curtis Martin having near the year he did last year(plus you again suffer from two players on the same offense). McGahee is good, but I wouldn't want him as my #1.

btw...you're screwed the Raiders, and probably the Jets bye week.

Well with the eighth pick of 10 teams, there was 2 QBs and 5 RBs taken before me, so McGahee was pretty much my only option.

What RB's were taken? I'd certainly not consider McGahee the #6 RB in the league.

Tomlinson, Holmes, Alexander, Dillon, Ahman Green...

Didn't want to take Jamal Lewis... Could've taken a few others (Edge, Portis, Domanick Davis, etc) but I just have a feeling about McGahee... I think he'll perform well this year...

me and my co-workers always go by the stragety of picking up running backs first, then looking at quarterbacks. tight ends should be near the end as only a select few actually produce huge numbers, and depending on the point system a good kicker could be some nice sleeper points (guys like akers and vanderjagt who will easily net you 10+/week on extra points and 40+ yard boots). im not saying wr's arent important, but rb's will easily get more touches than a receiver and you figure once your team is in the red zone with a fresh set of downs you'll be happy to be having a good running back.

James was still on the board??

meh. With those guys taken, Edge would definitely have been my pick, McAllister was still on the board....

IMO, the best young back(1st or 2nd year starting) in the league is Julius Jones. I snagged him in the 3rd round of my draft. Him and Shaun Alexander give me a pretty formidable backfield :D
