I know this is a bit out of place, but I have no where else to turn to. This is the only forum I go to. I read a while back some posts about online flower delivery services back on valentine's day. There were a lot of suggestions from many people on which service is good for sending flowers to your special someone. I tried to find those old posts but had no luck. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on which flower delivery services are good? If the cost is low then it would be nice too, but I value quality of the flowers and delivery more. Much obliged to anyone willing to help out.

That makes it OK. There is no such thing as cheap flower delivery. You also might try this.

Burrp.
The IWANNA thread rarely, if ever, produces answers. -So there really isn't a "good" place for these in my book.

-->The best flowers are the ones personally delivered, that way you know their quality and you get the swooning female in all her glory. ;)

1-800-flowers is always a good place. prices are a bit high, but you said that's not a huge problem. Vermont Teddy Bear is also nice :) In the future, IWANNA thread, or Off Topic. Good luck!

I tried 1-800-flowers on 2 seperate occasions. Both times, the order never arrived and they didn't know why. Best thing I found is to find a florist (yellow pages?) that is close to the address you want them delivered to and call them and order direct. If it's out of town or out of state, same thing goes. Get a telefloral or ftd member.

I've always found it cheapest to find a florist local to the person you want to get the flowers.. either search for websites online or use one of the online phonebooks...

If your really in the hole with your wife, GF or whatever........... Try Absolutely Fresh Flowers. They aren't cheap, but will make a great immpression with the dozens of flowwers they deliver for about 50 bucks.

yeah, i think that buying direct from a local florist is the best way to do it. just go to www.yellowpages.com and look it up in that area. I just bought a dozen red roses for my fiance this past thursday in a city across the country. And i think best of all you get better prices then these online stores. I paid $45 for a dozen in a glass vase, plus tax and it was free delivery for me also.

Flower.com has a bunch of online coupons available at jumpondeals.... just do a search for "flower" (without the 's'). They've delivered for me when 1800flowers couldn't, and I think they have fairly good prices.

I've had good luck with 1800flowers.com. The odd thing was they used different shipping methods for the 2 times I ordered. One time they went through a local florist, and another time they overnighted them Fedex (I didn't pay for the fast shipping. I gave them a 4 day lead time and they shipped on the 3rd day.) In both cases, they provided good feedback to me about where the order was and the flowers were spectacular according to my girlfriend.
