Yesterday it got up to 63 degrees and was still 62 degrees when I went to bed at 11pm. This morning I woke up and it was 40 degrees and raining slightly. Now it is 32 degrees and it just got done thunderstorming and the rain is now turning to ice. Early tomorrow they predict 4" of snow.

Praying for a snow day!

Anybody else get blitzed by this insane cold front that came from no where??

The temperature drop is a cold front that basically moved through half the US throughout the week. We're getting the cold weather right now in Cleveland.

If you were from my hometown, you'd probably get a snowday tomorrow... 8-12 inches tonight/tomorrow morning + some tomorrow.

Being an hour and a half west, we are only supposed to get about 3 inches... Lake effect for the win.

Getting hammered here in St Louis. Calling for up to 10" of snow by morning. So far we've got about 3 inches of what the weathermen call "wintery mix". An ugly combination of rain, freezing rain, hail, sleet, and snow. It should all freeze solid by morning. Lovely.

I'm near downtown Chicago, and it's been freezing rain for at least two hours. Snow will be here soon, I'll be glad because I don't like the sound of the ice hitting the windows. I'm afraid they're going to break

It's supposed to rain today but a few hours ago I saw some stars. The weather fax doesn't look that great but what do those people know?

doubt it was just your flight. fox news is reporting "At Chicago's O'Hare Airport, at least 265 flights scheduled for Friday morning were canceled." and accuweather is reporting "Chicago will have near-blizzard conditions for about a 6-8 period Friday morning and midday."

Was 60ish Tuesday in SE Iowa. Dropped to around 45 Wednesday. Today it was around 35 all day, now its 19 with a wind chill of 5 with about 5 1/2" of snow on the ground... and its still coming hard...
