are these ram and this MSI K8N Neo4-F mobo good for OCing an AMD64 3200+ (most likey going venice core)

not going DFI because they are expensive :(

for the mobo, nothing over $120 shipped
and for the ram 2x 512 nothing over $140 shipped

thanks

That's good RAM, and it should overclock to about 230-240MHz (DDR460 - DDR480). It'll also do 1T latency, which is good news for athlon64 systems.

Sorry, I dunno 'bout the MoBo, but a 3200+ Venice core should overclock fairly well.

Get the DFI Ultra-D and TwinMOS. The kings of overclocking. While not matching your specific budget, the total should still be acceptable.

I agree with the DFI suggestion, but I wouldn't get the TwinMOS as most of them are no longer UTT. Go with OCZ Value VX.
