Good OC?

I know this a quite a fairly high OC, but I just want to know if it would be stable and safe. I'm running a 1700XP (1.47ghz stock), with the B core. So far I have it running at 190x11 = 2.09ghz @ 1.7v. Have OCZ PC3200, but I CAN NOT run it at 200fsb @ 2-3-3-6 timing, PC locks up about 10 minutes in. Temps are not a issue (36 idle, 41 load), but the thing I am concerned about is with an OC like this, if the CPU will still be able to last quite a long time, and if I have the proper voltage running through. I don't know much about overclocking.. just that I don't try to push it too far.

1.7v isn't too much voltage for a t-bred. 2.1ghz is a fairly nice OC too. But the CPU should run for its regular amount of time (I would say at least 5-7yrs.). Plus its not a very expensive processor either.

Sorry. 2.1ghz is not "quite a fairly high OC"; it's average for that chip. 2.3 is "fairly high" and 2.5 is "very high". I would pump 1.85v through that thing if you have good cooling. You have the potential to hit 2.3 I would say.

2.2ghz on a tbred is not the same as 3200+ for they are different cores. 2.2ghz on your old tbred is about equivalent to a 2800+ (barton).

For me, it is :p. I should be able to hit 2.3 with air cooling (Volcano 12+) - correct? 2.5 is risking it too much. If I were to go 195x11.5 = 2.25ghz, would 1.75v be sufficient enough?
