Shortened story
She told me what was bothering her, I apologized and told her we are a team, that I loved her, She told me the kids wanted me to stay. I asked her what she wanted. She said she wanted me to stay too.



I am chocked up, I came here thinking things were pretty bad, and you offered your support, more than I was ever prepared for. Dennis, and everyone Thank you.

I am glad to be a part of such a caring compassionate community.

Push comes to shove, maybe you can pop in and say hey once in awhile. I don't know about there, but the public libraries here all have Internet access, ours even lets you check out laptops with wireless high speed internet.

Ah Mike, what can I say?

My best wishes to you and I really do hope to see you around again - no matter what trouble we two had in the past, I always considered you a good friend of mine here on TA and back in the days on TAS. Take care and as other have already said, if you need help, let us know. Wouldn't be the first time the TeAm helps its members.

You guys are like family to me, maybe even more than that🙂

As some of you know (I pm'd those that replied)

It has been decided we split up for the time being.

Not my choice to be sure, but she is my best friend and I will give he what she wants.

She is talking about us geting a home in the fuiture so I really am just confused.

I am scrambling to find a place to stay so I won't be on much. She is giving me custody of my son, so all is not lost.

I am taking the server and the 3.2 prescott and the parts for the 6 odd computers I haven't gotten around to build.

I am leaving tommorow.

I thank each and everyone of you for the kind words.

I will return when I can.

There is a lot more to say but time is short, I have to find housing for me and my son. Its the only way he gets to go with me, plus I have to keep him in the school he is at till the end of the year at least.

I am bad about not calling folks, please don't take it personal. I will try to report in at the library if nothing else when I can.

I will post tonight and if possible in the morning before I leave, If not please take care and god bless you each and everyone.

Things are looking better

I found an apartment in my range that will be available on the 15th of november.

Its about 9 miles across town so it fits the requirements.

now to see if she is amicable to a two week extension .

I am very thankful that this is not turned ugly.

Oh and they are wired for dsl at least :?)
 
It sounds like things are looking up. Good luck and keep up the positive attitude.

From experience let me tell you that nothing makes kids feel worse in this situation than bad attitudes or the two parents trying to one up each other vying for attention.(and at the same time trying to make the other parent look bad) You don't know who to believe, who is right, or why things are happening, and try to find a way out.(or completely shut everyone out)

Just keep things positive and as everyone has already said if there anything we can do to help, just send out the word.

Sorry to hear it Mike, I hope it works out with the two weeks - at least she has to see you are doing your best. In the meanshile keep it positive, try to be a good listener.
