As opposed to naming yourself something cool and creative, like "n yusef"? :confused:

All I'm saying is that to me, "The Killers" doesn't seem like a name that differenciates (sp?) a band from every other band in existence. The name of a band is supposed to demonstrate the band's identity and be memorable. IMO, "The Killers" is neither.

The Killers is a band inspired by New Order, among other bands, and took the name from a New Order video. From Wikipedia:

The band came up with the idea for their name from a New Order video titled "Crystal". It was featured on the bass drum of a fictional band in the video (although The Killers in the New Order video "Crystal" included males and a female).

I prefer stories like the incident where the Misfits were supposed to perform as one of a number of acts at a club (I believe Henry Rollins was there too). Motley Crue showed up (This was apparently in their glam days) and they were beaten and chased out of the club and down the street by the Misfits and Rollins. The whole story was in the booklet in the Misfits boxed set it I remember right, don't have it in front of me.

You must realize that today's male youth wear women's jeans and paste their hair to their chin. It's a different mindset. :p

So you're saying they're like Motley Crue, and get their arses kicked and are chased down the street.

I really didn't know The Bravery was emo, nor fall out boy.

Pannic sucks ass, I saw a video and it was beyond horrible. Reminds me why I don't keep up with new music anymore.

killers = good
fall out boy = semi-good, I respect them because I think they're talented but can't stand some of their songs.
panic = can't stand it, I think they're talentless hacks.
bravery = good
